Fashion designer Pierre Louis Mascia has been a long-time fan of the whimsical wire works of Marie Christophe. He commissioned a series of squiggly, jiggly jellyfish sculptures for his Milan atelier and had her design sculptures like this one to hold his highly coveted silk creations.
I am in love with her hangers, aren’t you?
Subtle changes really do a make a big difference in this dreamy den I styled for my client. I reupholstered the sofa and chairs, got a new ottoman and new rug and brought out all the autumn colors with piles of carefully curated Adam & Viktoria pillows.
And we did all of this without breaking budget – or the bank. What do you think of the dramatic transformation?
Jean-Louis Deniot has long been a fan of Marie Christophe and specifies her work for his homes in California, Tangier, Morocco and Chantilly, France as well as many of his client projects. I am so pleased to share the new custom lantern light for his client made with our most coveted crystals in various blues, yellow green and white opaline crystal sourced from Murano.

We’ve been waiting for you!!!
Objects and florals are at the center of my life. Finding unique artists and telling their stories fascinate me. I also have an inordinate love of Europe. The whole imprint is part of my upbringing, my culture and my taste. But it is France, whose culture I admire so much that holds my heart.
At home, the boundaries between private and professional life are blurred. When I am home, I am constantly thinking about changing up the pillows with the seasons, adding in new objects of my affection and creating florals and when I am working with a styling client, I am thinking about artistic direction and staging and styling. Everything’s linked.
My passion is to create and to find inspiring ways of living and (joyfully) living in that space!
Architectural Digest!
The coveted, collectible birdcage chandelier is featured in January issue of Architectural Digest!
I grew up with generous, loving parents who were not necessarily attached to the decor or the objects around us as such – that’s more of a personal taste of mine!!!
Their love of Europe and travel influenced me at a very early age when my mother who was born in Sicily, and my dad who was born in Naples took me on trips to the Mediterranean. It left an indelible mark on my on heart and led me to the France and the lavender fields of Provence where my passion for design, art, and flowers became the inspiration for my styling business and floral creations to incorporate into the rooms I style.
