Flowers and Objects

The unexpected elegance of thin wire shaped into fairy-tale like filigree animals has captivated collectors and art enthusiasts around the globe.  Marie Christophe’s creations  always merge lighthearted sophistication with an artful expression.
Flowers, candles, beautiful dinnerware and always coveted sculptures from Marie Christophe to adorn my table!I love creating a table that expresses who I am and how I feel in my house.
I love how flowers and objects from Marie Christophe  interact with each other.

The bejeweled beauty stops to smell the glittering crystal flower before welcoming  guests to my dining room table.

Break Out Of The Cage With Marie Christophe’s Birdie Beauties

This new beauty was inspired by the original created for Muriel Brandolini for Amanda Ross for her stunning Hamptons house.

Marie Christophe’s latest …. Lustre Medallion Branch chandelier in wooden beads and assorted crystal was based on the original in crystal created for my other client a few years ago.

Seven months in the making, it was sure worth the wait. The stunner  is almost 40”  inches high and 32 inches wide and has five birds, including an owl and five crystal lights and a medallion in wooden beads

Marie Christophe’s layered green crystal leaf pendant is my favorite way to achieve an effortlessly chic table setting.
This beauty was created for Isabelle Molzer’s beautiful fairytale 16th-Century Normandy estate, Domaine de Bailleul  and it is featured in the April issue of Architectural Digest magazine.
It gives such as warm glow to every lovely setting!

La Vie en Rose translated by Adam & Viktoria

Marie Christophe’s beautiful glittering bugs can adorn any table and when grouped together they turn your wall into a high -wire swarm of wire and dazzling crystal!

This is a new one for my client!

A beautiful emotion every time I see the magnificent creations of Pierre-Louis Mascia!

Adam & Viktoria’s panoply of pillows, in greens, yellows and browns, is an ode to perfection.
I can’t decide which ones I want – best to have them all!

Caught!

Marie Christophe’s Poisson lamp – a fish that’s scaled with wire – has a new swimming hole.

Over The Rainbow!

Marie’s Christophe’s stunning new Rainbow chandelier sets the scene for elegant dining.

Her chandeliers are always the shining star of the room!

Hooray! There’s a mouse in the penthouse!
Actually, it’s more than one, and they are all sitting pretty in one of the chandeliers that Marie Christophe’s created to enhance the views of their New York City apartment. Her mice, in a stunning staircase that leads to the rooftop, are positioned so they can cast a critical eye on the gallery of art that adorns the walls. I wonder which piece they like the best?

These three mice are nice – and are playing on Marie Christophe’s newest chandelier.

Ready to see them have fun?

For me, it’s all about finding  joy in sourcing pieces that excite you and personalize your home and poetic pieces like these always inspires for their ability to infuse beauty into a space.

This project is a still a favorite of mine! We created two rose crystal chandeliers to illuminate the dining room of beauty guru Fredric Fekkaii and his lovely wife Shirin von Wulffen.  They later added another.

Their romantic house near Aix-en Provence filled with lavender fields and rose colored chandeliers.  So much beauty!

The most gorgeous room EVER conceived with the magnificent creations of Marie Christophe!  Obsessed with this  project and this palazzo in Turin!

My favorite EVER!!

Italy…Its layering of styles and influences was my early introduction into this world of beauty and the inspiration for my business

It left an indelible mark that led me to France and the lavender fields of Provence, where my passion for design, and flowers bloomed into my styling business, where I source unique objects, lighting and textiles that turn the ordinary into the extraordinary.

All I can say is……Dazzling!

Marie Christophe created this beautiful custom chandelier and pagoda-style lantern for a palazzo in Turin, Italy.
Laced with watercolor beads and whimsy, these pieces are a study in delicate elegance. The lantern’s green crystal light –it’s such a solo delight.

When I toured the Colorei del Sole  factory outside Palermo with my husband, we were offered a print-making session.

We made our own Moor and the Lady aprons – and thankfully, neither of us lost our heads!!!

The haute fashion hangers Marie Christophe created for Pierre Louis Mascia are the stars of his atelier and new shops in Milan and Paris.

I have been so in love with these unique sculpture/hangers since Marie first created them in February, 2018.   They are so coveted now!

Mine are happily hanging out in my dressing room, atelier and shop.

What an artful way to display your coveted pieces or to hang a hat!  Which will you choose?  Love to create one for your favorite garment or jewelry.

La Vie Parisienne–So French and So Fabulously Chic!

There’s just something about  French women..the way they dress is completely understated yet always chic.
They can, for instance, look exotic and glam by simply slinging a silk scarf around their necks.
My favorite Frenchwoman, Marie Christophe designed these wonderfully witty wall sculptures/hangers for Pierre- Louis Mascia.
And I must admit, they’re just as gorgeous hanging solo!!

These beautiful little lanterns, Milles et une Nuit (A Thousand and One Nights), for French designer Jean-Louis Deniot, also

inspired Fern Santini Collaborative, whose team sent me a photo of a trio of them installed in a client’s dining room.

They are standouts even when they are not illuminated.
