With simple and sublime design, Marie Christophe hand sculpts wire, beads and baubles into art that is illuminating as poetry. Then she enlivens these airy sculptural masterpieces by adding beautiful bejeweled birds and attaching glittering crystal to catch the light.

The magic starts with a simple ball of wire. In the expert hands of French artist, Marie Christophe, wire is twisted and looped and coiled, meandering its way through glittering crystals and colorful beads, morphing into a whimsical sculpture or an elaborate chandelier.
After studying graphic art and interior architecture at Ecole Supérieure de Design, Penninghen in Paris, her wire sculptures began to take shape as both works of art and functional lighting.
Her stunning work captured the eye of some of the most prestigious designers in Paris, among whom she has crafted chandeliers and sconces for Dior, and flocks of playful penguins for Roger Vivier, Jean-Louis Deniot is a devoted fan
Working with techniques of hand made, the mark of the hand is discernible in every piece with great emphasis on color and detail
Bonita Ahuja’s new Shell-Bougainvillea brings summer home, evoking memories of happy days lying by the cold, blue sea. The silk and merino textile, handwoven, hand dyed and hand appliqued, is dove grey, oatmeal and lilac with shots of cobalt blue, fuchsia, scarlet and mustard.
