Inspired by the drawings of Thierry Hermès, the founder of the haute-fashion house that bears his name, Marie Christophe created this lantern for the Hermès family as an homage to his legacy. The colorful ceramic beads are a counterpoint to the angularity of the lantern’s geometric shape.
Sicily, left an indelible impression on me!
My interest in design and travel started at age 14 when my mother, who was born in Sicily, and my dad, who was from Naples, took me on a trip to the Mediterranean. My first overseas trip to Italy at the age of 14 sparked a passion for travel and adventure that has never ceased.
Europe keeps my eyes open as a style-maker.
Old-world Sicily may be at the edge of Europe, but it’s always been at the center of my heart. Its layering of styles and influences was my introduction into the world of beauty and the inspiration for my businesses.
I’m excited to be off to Sicily again to be inspired by the country of mother and when I return, I’ll have all kinds of new ideas to share with you! Exciting, thrilling Sicily here I come!!!
This magnificent sinuous surrealistic sculpture brings the healing powers of nature home for the Hermes family in Paris.

My shop at Jo’s Farm is a living example of my deep and worldly mix of passions where people can discover unique décor, as well as lavender, flowers and floral sculptures—a celebration of that perfect moment of home happiness!
The French know how to shop. They take their time until they find that “ coup de coeur” falling for something. You’ll find that “coup de coeur” at my shop. My shop is the destination to discover unusually beautiful, unique items from Europe.
I love spring anywhere, but if I could choose I would always greet it in my garden!!
My press feature for Table Magazine and my life filled with flowers!
Marie Christophe creates charming creatures, fanciful fixtures, coveted chandeliers and beautiful birdcages that she seems to sculpt like magic out of thin air.
Working in her atelier in Gers, Marie weaves her magical spell with humble cable, bringing her whimsical wireworks to life.
Her light-as-a-feather wireworks, punctuated with crystals or ceramics, float in space without invading it.
Her new chirpy-chic birdcage for my client, will bring spring and summer into your home all year long. Featured in AD January!
We would love to sculpt something for you too
An international design business, a lavender farm, a light filled shop, flower meadows and gardens an apple orchard a newly built greenhouse. These define the life that entrepreneur Lisa Fontanarosa has built in an old adobe compound.
A trip to Sicily as a young girl, sparked a love of international travel, design, and fashion.
I spent my early career revolving around the New York fashion scene, working at Conde Nast magazines such as Vogue
It was a window dressing job for the Henri Bendel store’s “Street of Shops” that solidified her love of interior design. This led, ultimately, to an international design career and the founding of Lisa Fontanarosa Collections in 1997. Lisa Fontanarosa Collections’ success means she has one foot in France, whose culture and lifestyle for which she has a particular fondness. As it evolves, Fontanarosa envisions Jo’s Farm as the palette for her creations: a living example of her deep and worldly mix of passions where people can discover unique décor, as well as lavender and flowers~Table Magazine
I love these lovely scented lavender wands as decorative objects but beauty aside, there’s a very practical reason to keep a supply of lavender wands on hand. The purpose of the wand is to be placed in a wardrobe to scent clothes or linens and protect against moths. Very popular in France and used to repel moths and other insects that feast on wool. I have taken them out of the closet to adorn your home because they are the loveliest decorative objects to perfume your interiors!
Placed in vases, baskets, or on furniture, they now serve as beautiful scented objects!
And I Iove to use mine to welcome my guests at my summer garden table.
Available exclusively through my lavender farm www.josfarms.com
I’ve always said that Marie Christophe’s pendants and lanterns make every space special, so I’m not surprised that clients are commissioning them for luxury bathrooms too!
Flowers Always!!!!
Make each day special with florals. They lift a space and our spirits.
I am obsessed with my bouquet of beauty – I love to add spring blooms from my garden to my chandelier!
Add some new bling to your space with the creations of Marie Christophe!
Her latest sculpture is really something to tweet about: the bejeweled birdies are all a rare species, made by her hand only. It features birds, an owl, parrots and a bouquet of spring flowers that speak in these glorious colors.
Spring improves everyone’s mood –
The rite of the garden, of birds a-singing as they build their nests, sprinkled with the joy of flowers. Spring invites joy!
