Old-world Sicily may be at the edge of Europe, but it’s always been at the center of my heart. Its layering of styles and influences was my early introduction into this world of beauty and the inspiration for my businesses.

My interest in design started at age 14 when my mother, who was born in Sicily, and my dad, who was from Naples, took me on a trip to the Mediterranean.

It left an indelible mark that led me to France and the lavender fields of Provence, where my passion for design, art and flowers bloomed into my styling business, where I source unique objects, lighting and textiles to turn the ordinary into the extraordinary.

Blue Bird For Spring
“There’s life, and then there’s the good life.”   The French have mastered the art of living. (And fashion. And food. Everything!)  After visiting France a number of times, I quickly learned that whether it’s treating yourself to fresh flowers just because or taking the time to source the best baguette, living well is all about finding joy in the simple things. Want to know the fundamental lessons of this enviable European philosophy? You’ll find it here at my flower farm and shop in New Mexico where I grow and cultivate lavender and flowers and share the world of unusually beautiful objects, lighting, and textiles from around the world to incorporate into the rooms I style and design for my clients.   My shop is a destination for discovery, a place to unearth interesting items and I invite you to share the joy in finding the custom collections made by my artists and styled by me in my shop.

Pausing For Moments of Beauty!
In the world of French dining, presentation is just as important as the food. To create a beautiful table, set the mood for soft, ambient illumination and you will have the most romantic atmosphere !
Marie Christophe’s layered crystal leaf pendant is my favorite way to achieve an effortlessly chic table setting.
It was created for a chateau in Normandy, France. It is the centerpiece of this table, always set for a beautiful dinner party and its guests at Domaine de Bailleul.
It gives such as warm glow to every lovely setting!
And we just created one for my client in the most beautiful bleu klein and black crystals!!

Stylist Lisa Fontanarosa has decorated her garden gazebo and pergolas with bespoke textiles for as long as she can remember. Not only does this give the space privacy, but it also provides shade from the intense sun in New Mexico, she says. It’s a simple yet gorgeous idea that can totally transform a space and make it feel unique. ‘The textiles are sourced on my travels from Fiji and France,’ she reveals, adding how she changes them depending on the season. ‘They act as a veil between spaces, indoor and outdoor,’ she adds. Why not try it for your next garden soiree to elevate the occasion? So thrilled to be featured in Homes and Gardens!

The haut fashion hangers for Pierre Louis Mascia, Milano!
I consider myself a collector whose love for discovering beautiful things started on my travels to Europe.
Through my business, Lisa Fontanarosa Collection and traveling extensively throughout  France for the last 23 years, I learned to surround myself with objects that bring me joy and even better if they have a story.  I learned to always use the good china from my mother every day.  I learned from my mother and her Italian way to always create a beautiful table to enjoy the food I love to cook which always starts with a lovely tablecloth, beautiful dishes and glasses found in France and beyond and never wait for a special occasion to enjoy these cherished pieces.
I love styling, I love retail, I love shopkeeping, I love creating. The French know how to shop.  They take their time until they find that “ coup de coeur” falling for something. You’ll find that “coup de coeur” at my shop. I invite you to share the joy of discovering the collections that I represent from Europe!
